"The Ondas Ensemble is a versatile, engaging and multi-faceted group of musicians who play complex music with ease, verve and intensity. Whether it is a dense multi-layered texture, a lyrical melody or angular rhythm, the Ondas Ensemble always projects musical ideas with clarity, conviction and style. Its members are consummate players who communicate to a wide audience as easily and effectively as they communicate with each other."

Repertoire

The Ondas Ensemble repertoire is as diverse as its instrumentation. On an ongoing basis we are seeking new works to divulge to our audiences, and have been very fortunate to work with the foremost Latino composers writing for chamber ensembles. The pieces indicated below are just a small example of our repertoire, and an asterisk (*) designates a work written for our members.

Our aim is to program accessible music, and music which especially features Latin motives, rhythms, melodies and other inspirations - both historic and contemporary.

We can design a program around our core instrumentation: flute, clarinet and piano as well as add other instruments such as strings (violin, viola, cello, bass), guitar, percussion, and voice.

The following is a small sample of our repertoire - several of which are demonstrated below:

Assad, Clarice (BRAZIL), Laranja (clarinet & piano) *
